SyncFusion libraries are included in APL/W Version 14, they add an
assortment of controls which may be used in WPF-based GUIs.
Note - the Dyalog patch/update of 20 January 2015 seems to give some
problems (both ButtonAdv and UpDown failing in my experience).
Dyalog also offered a complete install (build 14.0.23392.0) which - to
date - seems to be free of these issues. If you run into problems
using Syncfusion controls it may well be prudent to consider a full
reinstall of Dyalog 14.0.
SyncFusion's own documentation is lengthy, presumably comprehensive, but
not written with the purist APLer as target readership. The idea
behind these pages is to bridge some of the gap and offer succinct
examples for an APL-literate audience.
Please note that there is no claim to be either comprehensive or original
here - the author has benefited from the experiences of (among others)
Peter Donnelly, Pierre Gilbert, Michael Hughes and Pierre Gilbert and
thanks them for their pioneering work.
There is more to SyncFusion than is shown here, updates and amendments
will happen - more driven by the author's personal needs and schedule than
anything else. What's shown and linked here are controls which I've
been able to access and use - there are (many) more still to be
explored. Where experiments have run into difficulty this is noted,
but there are no linked examples.
Best of intentions, but no responsibility taken for errors and omissions.
